WordUnscramble.ai helps players find the best word for Scrabble, Wordle, Jumble and anagram puzzles, free.

Type up to 15 letters, use ? as a wildcard for a blank tile, narrow by start, end, contents or length and pick a dictionary: CSW, SOWPODS, OTCWL or NASPA. Results come back grouped by length and sorted by Scrabble score, and Scramble Rush turns the same engine into a race against the clock.

Our approach

How we approached it.

One search engine, many front doors: a tool for each game, all sharing the same dictionary and filters.

Put the letter search and its filters on the first screen of the home page
Gave each game its own tool page: Wordle Helper, Jumble, Anagram, Word and Scrabble Finder
Grouped results by word length with the Scrabble score beside each word
Built Scramble Rush, a timed round of 10 words with a daily leaderboard

Design decisions

Every choice follows one idea: from a rack of letters to a winning word in seconds.

01 · Search
The search is the hero
Why?
The letter box, filters and dictionary picker sit in the hero of the home page and the solver pages, so a player can start typing the moment the page loads.
02 · Results
Results you can scan
Why?
Words are grouped by length, from the longest down, with the Scrabble score next to each, so the best play is the first thing a player sees.
03 · Game
A game built on the tool
Why?
Scramble Rush races the clock to unscramble 10 words, with a leaderboard for signed-in players, turning a one-off lookup into a reason to come back.
