Mortgage Superheroes helps Australian families, first home buyers and business owners find the right loan across 40+ lenders, at no cost to them.

The website turns a dry product into a cast of characters: six service heroes with their own pages, a borrowing power calculator, a three-step process, the broker's awards and its mission, frequently asked questions, articles and a free-call form that asks which hero you need.

Key goals

What the site had to do.

Four goals shaped the structure of the site and every call to action.

  1. 01

Make mortgage broking feel approachable, not intimidating

  2. 02

Give each kind of borrower a clear specialist and a page of its own

  3. 03

Let visitors estimate their borrowing power before they call

  4. 04

Turn interest into a booked call: Book a Hero on every page

Our approach

How we approached it.

Lead with personality, then back it with numbers.

  1. Built the brand story into the interface: illustrated heroes, a hero in the headline and Book a Hero buttons

  2. Gave Hearth Hero, Rate Renegade, Equity Guardian, Debt Buster, SME Bro and Capital Titan a service page each

  3. Added a borrowing power calculator with sliders and a plain-English explanation of its assumptions

  4. Ended the home page on FAQs and a free-call form with state and hero pickers

Design decisions

Three design decisions, explained.

Every choice follows one idea: a borrower should feel there is someone on their side before they share a single number.

  • 01 · Characters

    A hero for every loan

    Why?

Each service is a named, illustrated character, so a first home buyer goes straight to Hearth Hero and a business owner to SME Bro instead of reading through six loan types.

  • 02 · Calculator

    A number before the call

    Why?

The borrowing power calculator updates as the sliders move and states its assumptions, a 6.1% rate plus a 3% serviceability buffer over 30 years, so the estimate is honest about being a ballpark.

  • 03 · Process

    Three steps, no jargon

    Why?

Book a free call, we compare lenders, get approved: the process is drawn as a path of three cards, so the commitment is clear before anyone fills in a form.
